What do I need?
To run Feline Frequency, you need Ollama and a supported large language model. The hardware requirements depend on the model. For llama3.2, you should have 16 GB RAM and a good GPU. If you don't meet the requirements, the model may run slowly or not at all.
How do I set up Ollama?
Feline Frequency uses Ollama to generate text. To run it, download and install Ollama. Then open Command Prompt and run:
ollama pull llama3.2
Which model should I choose?
The most performant model is llama3.2. For better (but slower) results, try mistral or deepseek-r1:8b.
Generating takes FOREVER!
Most models will generate slowly on an average computer. Try using a smaller model or increasing the max buffered lines count and waiting for the lines to generate in advance.
The story stopped making sense!
The model can get stuck in a feedback loop of bad responses, causing future responses to deteriorate. Try restarting.

Everything the characters say is made up by AI. The developer cannot be held responsible if the AI develops expansionistic tendencies, say, if it decides to take over the world or suck you into the game.
